Fully Sculptured Range

If your looking for a crisp, understated design classic, the clean, angular lines of our casement windows could be just right for you. Available in a huge range of style combinations including bay windows. As they are a popular choice for home owners, suiting every type of home. Our fully sculptured window range is our most popular choice.

Flush Sash Windows

If you're lucky enough to live in a period property, you'll know that there can be some drawbacks too. While heritage buildings look and feel amazing, they often come with draughty windows due to aged timber and ineffective single glazing. If you wish to retain the simple, classic lines of traditional timber framed windows but want all the many benefits of a modern day uPVC system too, flush sash uPVC windows are the perfect solution for you. They have the heritage look with the modern day benefits. These windows can also look effective in a more contemporary property using modern colours.

Vertical Sliding Sash

Combining cutting edge technology without losing the traditional authentic box sash character and style. The vertical slider has the strength and durability of the old timber box sash and incorporates all the classic features like Georgian bar, decorative horns and deep bottom rails. Not only do the sashes slide, they can be also tilted inwards for ease of cleaning and ventilation.

Run Through Sash Horns

If your property requires a more traditional look to the windows we can offer you our run through sash horns option where the horns are mechanically welded to the sash making them look genuine and in keeping with the character of your property.

Reversible Windows

The reversible window swings right the way around so that the outer pane of glass ends up on the inside. For this reason they are very popular any where it's difficult to clean the windows from the outside. They can also be secured in different positions for ease of ventilation. The reversible excels in both aesthetics and reliability and can be manufactured to match our fully sculptured range.

Tilt and Turn

A tilt and turn window is a window sash which opens two ways. The whole of the window opens inwards for easy cleaning or choose to tilt the window inwards from the top to allow for secure ventilation. It has good looks coupled with the benefits of ventilation and the ability to be able to clean the exterior glass from inside. Tilt and turn is especially good for use in apartments where access to upstairs windows for cleaning is limited.

We also offer a full range of shaped frames, from a simple arch to something more complicated

Secure by design is a police backed standard which promotes products that are designed in such a way to make life more difficult for would be burglars. It focuses on crime prevention of homes and commercial premises and promotes the use of security standards for a wide range of applications and products. SBD has also been proven to reduce crime by 75%.

PAS23/PAS24

Publicly Available Specification 23, also known as PAS 23:1999 is a now-defunct performance standard for doors and windows. Despite this it is still not uncommon to get requests for PAS 23, despite the fact it is no longer current. It was designed to confirm whether a particular doorset was fit for purpose and included weather and operational testing. The security rating was not sufficient for police/insurance purposes and this resulted in products also having to be tested to PAS 24.

PAS-24 (Publicly Available Specification) is a minimum standard which means doors and now windows, are tested to the standards specifications with a fail or pass as there are no higher or lower grades of security. In essence this is your guarantee that the production of the doors and windows you are purchasing is being monitored by a UKAS accredited certification body to ensure compliance with PAS 24:2012 Enhanced security performance requirements for doorsets and windows in the UK. External doorsets and windows intended to offer a level of security suitable for dwellings and other buildings exposed to comparable risk and the specific and the relevant material specific standard for general performance referenced in BS 6375 Parts 1, 2 and 3.

Approved Document Q

When it comes to home security, it is of the up most importance that your doors and windows are up to scratch. On 1st October 2015 Approved Document Q (Security - Dwellings) came into effect. This new standard covers the protection of entry points to any new home.

Document Q is the latest addition to Building Regulations and brings security to the forefront by setting out reasonable standards for doors and windows in all new residences. Under the new standards, all new doors and windows should be made to a design that has been shown, by test, to meet the security requirements of PAS24:2012.

This means all doors and windows have to meet a cylinder and hardware attack test and comply with European security measures to make homes less vulnerable.

The introduction of Approved Doc Q ensures that greater levels of security are in place to protect new homes, resisting physical attack by a casual or opportunistic burglar. So if you are currently looking to buy a new home then make sure your doors and window meet Approved Doc Q.

If you are an existing homeowner looking to make sure the entry points to your home are protected, then even changing the basics in home security can make a big difference. For example, a new door installed with a high security cylinder and handle combination presents a powerful proposition, and with the visual deterrent of the Yale branding it will make any opportunist burglar think twice!
